Graduation in Biology at Unesp-Assis and Master and Doctorate in Biochemistry of Microorganisms at Unicamp-Campinas

Since 1994 working in industrial processes with a focus on Quality Assurance/Control and Production. Experience in several sectors of the Food and Pharmaceutical Industry and since 2013 working in specific activities of aseptic processing. Experience in Cleaning, Disinfectants and Disinfection Validation processes, Clean Area Certification, Aseptic Techniques, Airflow Dynamics Tests, Personnel Certification Programs and Environmental Monitoring. Understanding the structure of Quality Programs with skills at all stages and levels of the quality systems. Experience in Routines and Management of Microbiological Laboratory in the areas of Pharmaceuticals, Food and Water. Expertise in Audits in Food and Pharmaceutical Industries with training and experience in auto inspection processes as a leading and assistant auditor, attending auditors for GMP certification: SGS, IBD Biodynamics Institute, COVISA, DIGEMID, WHO, INVIMA and corporate audits. Experience in Project Leadership consolidated by the experience during the Green Belt certification project and other continuous improvement projects.

Kali Sorum, RM(NRCM)

Microbiologics Technical Support Manager

Kali Sorum has been a part of the Technical Support Team at Microbiologics since 2012. During her time in the role, she has provided technical support to Microbiologics’ customers internationally and domestically for our products used as Quality Control reference materials in various industries such as the Pharmaceutical, Food, Cosmetic and Clinical. She addresses how they are used and implemented in Quality Control testing for multiple regulations including but not limited to the USP, BAM, CLSI, FDA, and others. Other duties include investigation of product complaints, planning and executing laboratory investigations, assisting and developing training programs on the use of our products and specific test methods, as well as supervision of the Technical Support Team. Kali has also been a part of the Internal Audit Team since 2014. Auditing yearly to FDA Part 820, ISO 17025, ISO 13485 and ISO 17034 standards. She has a Bachelor of Science degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University in Biology and Pre-Pharmacy as well as a minor in Chemistry. She has been certified as a Registered Microbiologist in Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Microbiology (RM) through the National Registry of Certified Microbiologists (NCRCM) since June of 2016.

Microbiologics Latin American Sales Manager

Delene has worked at Microbiologics for over 27 years. After starting in the Microbiologics order entry department, she served as customer service manager for 18 years and then became the sales manager for Latin America and Canada. During her time at Microbiologics, she has assisted in establishing the Microbiologics international network of distributors, working closely with customers around the globe.
